IndusInd Bank expands HYROX India tie-up to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Noida

IndusInd Bank has expanded its partnership with a global fitness racing brand to more Indian cities. This deal offers special perks to customers who participate in these high-energy sports events.

IndusInd Bank has announced a major expansion of its partnership with HYROX India. After starting their journey together in Mumbai, the bank is now taking this tie-up to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Noida. This move makes IndusInd Bank a key banking partner for the entire multi-city fitness racing calendar this season. The bank wants to connect more deeply with urban customers who enjoy new experiences and a healthy lifestyle.

HYROX is a famous global fitness race that started in Germany in 2017. In this event, people run 1 kilometer and then do a functional workout station (exercises like rowing or pushing heavy sleds). They repeat this eight times. It is very popular worldwide, with events in over 30 countries. This season alone, more than 1.5 million people are expected to take part in 123 events across the globe.

For IndusInd Bank customers, this partnership brings many direct benefits. Customers who sign up for these races can get cashback offers on their entry fees. On the day of the race, they get VIP treatment, including priority check-in and dedicated access lanes so they do not have to wait in long lines. The bank will also provide special curated experiences on the ground to make the event more memorable for its account holders.

Sheran Mehra, the Chief Marketing Officer of IndusInd Bank, explained that this is not a regular sports sponsorship. The bank wants to reach people who value hard work and progress. By being part of a fitness race, the bank shows it supports the ambition and perseverance of its clients. The Country Head of HYROX India, Deepak Raj, also mentioned that the bank’s goals match perfectly with the race’s focus on setting and reaching high targets.

For bank officers, this is a clear example of 'lifestyle banking.' Instead of just selling loans or savings accounts, the bank is building its brand by being present where the customer spends their free time. As of June 30, 2026, IndusInd Bank serves about 42 million customers through a huge network of 3,137 branches. This partnership helps keep those 42 million people engaged with the brand outside of the branch office.

Customers in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Noida should look out for these events soon. If you have an IndusInd Bank credit or debit card, you might see special promotions in your mobile app or email soon. This is part of a bigger trend where Indian private banks are moving away from traditional advertising to focus on 'experience-oriented' marketing for wealthy urban residents.

Moving forward, bankers should watch how these partnerships affect customer loyalty and new account openings in these specific cities. If successful, we may see more Indian banks partnering with international sports and fitness brands to attract the younger, health-conscious generation. For now, the focus remains on delivering a smooth and premium experience for participants in the upcoming races.
