Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

BankerBro exists so bankers can learn from each other. It is not a place to share your employer's confidential material. This policy is short, clear and enforced.

This page is maintained by the BankerBro team. It reflects current app-visible controls and operator practices. It is not a legal certification or third-party audit. For questions, email hello@bankerbro.com.

Do not upload or post

  • Internal circulars, product notes, SOPs, checklists or training decks that belong to your bank.
  • Customer data of any kind — names, account numbers, PAN, Aadhaar, KYC documents, statements, screenshots of core banking or CRM systems.
  • Passwords, tokens, VPN configs or anything that could compromise your bank's systems.
  • Anything marked confidential, restricted or internal-only, or that a reasonable person would treat as such.
  • Content that violates Indian law, RBI/SEBI regulations, or another person's rights.

Do share

  • Publicly issued RBI, SEBI, NPCI, IT Department and GST circulars, notifications and press releases (with a link to the source).
  • Your own study notes, career updates, questions and opinions.
  • Publicly available product information — for example what is on your bank's own public website.

If in doubt, ask your compliance team

Every bank's IT and confidentiality policy is different. If you are unsure whether something is safe to share, treat it as confidential and ask your compliance team first. Your employer's rules override anything on this site.

Enforcement

We remove content that breaks this policy without notice. Repeat violations lead to account suspension. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authority.

Report a violation

Use the “Report” action on any post, or email hello@bankerbro.com.
