Regional rural banks told to speed up tech adoption

Regional rural banks are urged to accelerate modern technology adoption and digital services. Their net profit reached an all-time high of ₹10,176 crore in FY26. Sponsor banks must handhold RRBs in strengthening their IT infrastructure. The total business of all 28 RRBs has now crossed ₹13.5 lakh crore.
